COD 4: Modern Warfare - Wii - Review - Is Modern Warfare a Hit or Miss on Wii?
65Modern Warfare Three Minute Video Game Review
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex is the latest addition to the Call of Duty family of adrenaline pumping war games. Call of Duty is one of the best selling shooter game franchises in the market today because of the superior experience and quality gameplay that it offers.
Now, Call of Duty 4 can be played on the Wii, and this offers a whole new level of action and experience. This game retains the consistency of the other Call of Duty games: there are multiple playable characters that you can choose from. You’ll have access to a whole milieu of modern and advanced artillery and weapons which you will use to take out enemies.
What’s impressive about COD 4 Modern Warfare is the fact that the game
is just alive with realism. The game graphics are mostly crisp and
they will really impress Wii game players. Overall the frame rate of the game can be enhanced, the
screen will break up a bit when multiple details and
scenes come up all at once. Considering this installment of COD is played on the Wii console, I guess that comes with the territory.
But mostly crisp and realistic graphics isn’t just what this is all about. The game developers had been exposed to the real thing: the team went to live training and fire testing grounds to simulate real firing. Firsthand experience chops were also extracted from soldiers so that their firsthand experience will get passed on to you.

The new and improved environment gives a whole new dimension to the shooting and taking down of your on-screen enemies. Awesome music and sound effects also contribute to your gaming experience, as the sounds that you hear are about as realistic as they can get, having been based on the real sounds of firing tanks and guns in the real world.
COD4: Modern Warfare Wii Gameplay
The campaign is clearly coordinated and very intensely set-up and it really makes you feel that you are part of a smaller part of a larger battle. The clean cut story line and well defined characters and campaign goals always leave you hanging at the edge of your seat. You will want to go on and on finishing one campaign after another because you will want to see how the story goes.
The game is not that hard to learn if you’re a noob. The game controls can be easily remembered and used and pretty soon, you’ll be getting a hang of it. Nothing complex here, just simple hand-eye coordination will get you through, and a little memory of how to utilize the controls.
For all you COD fans, and for those just trying this one out for size, Modern Warfare will not disappoint. Wii adds a whole new gaming experience that is different from the traditional console, so this is worth adding to your collection.
